Safety & IT Specialist. Full-stack developer.

Safety isn't a department to me — it's the whole operation. Drivers get home, loads arrive, scores stay clean, and the carrier stays out of trouble. That's the job, and I love it.

I'm the Safety & IT Specialist at Best Way Logistics — a 150+ truck interstate dry-van carrier running all 48 states. I manage DOT/FMCSA compliance, fleet safety, ELD systems, insurance programs, claims, DQ files, violation monitoring, DataQs, telematics, CSA tracking, safety training, and new-driver onboarding.

The other half of my job: I build the technology. I develop internal IT infrastructure and automation that improves efficiency and compliance day to day — and beyond the office I ship software for the whole industry: Yuriance TMS, VioCodes, and SafetyHub Pro.

  • Own insurance programs and end-to-end claims management — liability, cargo, and physical damage from first notice through subrogation.
